coffee benefits from an ideal altitude which amplifies its lemony notes and its sweetness

refined that embodies the richness of the Colombian terroir. The Caturra is a mutation
natural Bourbon, known for offering a balanced cup, with delicate aromas and
vibrant acidity.
Grown at an altitude of 1900 m in the Huila region, this coffee benefits from conditions
optimal climates that intensify its lemony notes and prolonged sweetness.
Its medium, citric and slightly astringent acidity gives it a unique freshness, while its aromas of panela, caramel, lemon, orange and herbaceous notes bring a complex and fragrant aromatic dimension.
What distinguishes Caturra from other varieties is its aromatic depth and its
balanced structure. Unlike the Castillo, which was developed for its strength
to diseases, the Caturra favors the complexity of flavors, offering a more
refined and floral. Compared to Bourbon, from which it is derived, it has a higher acidity
marked and a silkier texture.
Ideal as an espresso for a lively and expressive experience, it reveals all its finesse in
filter (V60, Chemex) and in cold brew, where its freshness and herbaceous aroma are expressed
fully.
